First steps: situation analysis and development of the new approach

Since the kick-off meeting of the project we have been working especially on two lines of action: on the one hand, a situation analysis in the target schools of each of the participating countries, and on the other hand we are advancing in the design of a new educational approach, specifically designed for multicultural schools, where we merge the fundamental principles of Montessori pedagogy with the core ideas of Creative Technologies.

In particular, the Creative Technologies experts (University of Girona) have been learning about the Montessori method (through meetings, visits, observations and workshops). Then the Montessori experts (Waterpark Montessori & Montessori Girona) have been learning about Creative Technologies and multicultural schools (through school visits, meetings and workshops). At the moment, all expert partners in the methods, are creating the new approach that will ultimately become a teacher’s guide.
